Copenhagen, November 30. Herr Eisner has notified the Foreign Secretary in Berlin, as the latter is attempting to perpetuate the old regime's methods, that the Bavarian Foreign Office has severed connection with the Berlin office.THE ELECTIONS. Copenhagen November 29. Advices from Berlin state that the conference has completed the drafting of the Bill for the election of the Imperial Constituent Assembly. The election will probably be held on February 2. STRIKES AND FIGHTS.

Copenhagen, November 30. There are groat strikes in Berlin. Coal and provisions arc scarce. All alcohol is prohibited. Cologne reports repeated fighting in Westphalia between soldiers passing through, and the local Workmen and Soldiers' Councils. In some cases the latter were dismissed, the red flag lowered and the Prussian flag hoisted. THE JUNKERS.

The North German Gazette reports that tho Soldiers' Council at Ulo arrested General yon Belsingen because he telegraphed to supremo headquarters asking for two divisions, whereby he promised to crush tho Bavarian revolution.

YON HINDENBURG

The State Government has ordered yon Hindenburg to come to Berlin. '

AGAINST PROMOTION OF HATE

Amsterdam, November 30.The Prussian Socialist Minister for Education has issued instructions to tho schools that the teaching of history has hitherto been misused in order to influence international hate. The practice must stop without delay. All mendacious and false teaching about the world war and its authors must stop. AH books glorifying war must be removed from school libraries. TEMPORARILY SAVED.

London, November. 30. The Morning Post's Amsterdam correspondent says that the conference in Berlin seems temporarily to have averted the disintegration of Germany. Non-Prussian Governments have been given seats in the Central Government. It is expected Dr. "Solf will retire.

STRIKES IN GERMANY.

Amsterdam < November 30. Strikes are spreading in the coalfield districts, and a coal famine is threatened.

SYMPATHY FOR THE KAISER, (Received December 2, 8.5 ( i <_.m.) London, November 30. There are many rumours from Berlin of counter-revolutionary plans. A number of the army loaders favour the return of the Kaiser. Repatriated soldiers state that there is much sympathy with the Kaiser among the people, but they are afraid to show it. The mob in Berlin looted the Kaiser's palace. Returned German soldiers are ransacking the houses and maltreating the people.

BAVARIAN DOINGS

Copenhagen, November 30. • Prince Leopold of Bavaria and General Hoffman have been arrested and interned at Kovne.

Herr Eisner arrested the Berlin Government's courier travelling to Vienna, seized his documents and broke the seals.
