THEY WERE ACQUITTED
FOR PROTECTING BROTHER (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, November 6. Tavo brothers, Daniel Flanagan and John Flanagan, were charged in tho Supreme Court with harbouring their brother, Edward Flanagan, he being a deserter from the Expeditionary Force. The jury, after a little over half an hour's retirement, returned a verdict of not guilty, and the accused were liberated.
