AT THE LYCEUM.

A big double programme will be submitted at the Lyceum to-night and to-morrow, headed by a Triangle production "The Sin Ye Do," featuring Frank Keenan. It tells how a man of the world scoffs at morality, denouncing any protection accorded to woman under "The Unwritten Law," is suddenly confronted with the spectacle of his own daughter in gaol for murder. See the terrific change wrought in an iron nature by the fire of fate. In addition to this great production, "Gloria's Romance" (No. 7) will be presented. In "The Harvest of Sin" Gloria sees Freneau choked by a dark figure that emerges from th-j shadows. Was he murdcerd, by wlom, and why?

THE NEW DANDIES TO-MORROW

Mr. Edward Branscombe's troupe of merry people are popular favourites throughout the entire Dominion. The Dandies is a household word in every place possessing a theatre or town hall, and sufficient population to warrant a visit by these versatile entertainers. Tho coterie of artists announced to appear in the Drill Hall to-morrow evening have been selected specially for this season's tour. It is claimed for them that they constitute one of the strongest combinations yet presented. The personnel of the company includes Miss Dorothy Manning, lyric soprano; Miss Linda Bradford, contralto ; Miss Ivy Davis, comedienne; Mr. Andrew Pace, light comedian; Mr. John Wellby. basso; Mr. Harry Graham and Mr. Courtney Ford, two clover comedians: and Mr. Philip Hardman, musical director. Tbe New Dandies will present a number of entirely new features. The box plan is at Copeland's.

"BABY MINE" NEXT SATURDAY. The J. C. Williamson Farce Comedy Company, headed by the popular Australian comedy artists, Robert Greig and Beatrice Holloway, will pay a visit to Feilding on Saturday next with a new attraction, the big New York and London success, "Baby Mine." The Lyttelton Times says: " 'Baby Mine' is clever, it is darin" it is undeniably tunny; but, best of all, it never falters. Unlike many farces, it builds up quite reasonably and increases its laughter as it proceeds. It grows funnier as it grows, and it is a farce that forgets to flag. The childlike innocence of Zoic, the young wife, and the apparent absence of any effort to force this aspect of the play disarms criticism completely. Miss Holloway has done much on' the stage that has-been charming, but nothing nearly as good as her Zoic. Mr. Greig made Jimmy Jinks just as one would imagine him." The box plans for the one night will be opened at Copeland's on Thursday morning next.
