AN EYE FOR AN EYE.
AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH
London. August 4. The Times correspondent in Paris reports that the revelations in the Yellow Book have evoked feelings of loathing and indignation. It is recognised that protests are useless, and the press, demands an eye for an eye and a, tooth for a tooth, as this is the only law recognised by Germany. The Echo de Paris urges that Governments should organise a' special service to discover and register the names of all culprits in such crimes against humanity, and to decide upon their punishment.
