The High Commissioner's market report from London i.s as follows:— Frozen Meat.---Al descriptions continue in great demand owing to short supply released for consumption of the general public; arrivals of home-kill-ed very heavy this week, but market not affected to any extent. Lamb.—Canterbury BJd_ other than Canterbury last season's B;_d, this'.seasou's Sjjd. — Beef.—No New Zealand beef aT market; chilled, hinds Bd, fores G.d. Butter. -Market very firm ; Danish, dull market, 178s to 180s; New Zealand, market firmer, IGOs to 162s and 10'ls. unsaUed 102s to 106s, fair to good quality IS-ls to 158s; Australian, good demand for all descriptions, 156s to 100s; Argentine, MBs to 150h; Siberian, 12Gs to 13.;..

Cheese.—Market remains firm; Canadian, steady market, Oils to 100s; New Zealand, market firm with upward tendency, white 97s to 98s, coloured 98s; English, Cheddar linn market 106s to llfte, Cheshire very scarce 114s to 120s; United States." market firm with upward tendency, 90s to 975, flats 95s to 965. 'On' March 1 the estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks in London, Liverpool and Bristol were 96,000 boxes against 78,000 boxes at the same time last year. The New Zealand and Australian cheese stocks in London and Bristol were 31.000 crates as against 1d,7000 crates last year.
