Seven cases of infantile paralysis wero reported in Wellington district to-day, and ouo case in Wellington city. There were two cases in Stratford, and one caso each in Taihape, Eoxton, Hawora, aud Gisborne. Elthani. March 7. A fatal caso of -nfantile paralysis occurred here, the victim being Timothy John McCarthy, aged 113 years, j a strong vigorous farmer, who died after only two days' illness.
