It i.s ollicially staled that the Zeppelins' movements in the north-east have not been clearly defined. They dropped bombs in the sea near the shore. (Received .March 7. 8.20 a.m.) London, March 0. Zeppelins visited the several counties from Yorkshire to Kent. Twelve persons were killed and 33 injured. Wellington, March 7. The High Coiiiiiiissioir.r reports: — Two Zeppelins visited the north east coast of England last night. The number of Zeppelins taking part- in last night's raid is believed to be three. The airships were apparently uncertain of their whereabouts. Tho" area visited included Yorkshire. Lincolnshire, Rushland, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Norfolk. Essex, and Kent. About -10 bombs were dropped ; three men, four womeu, and five children were killed, and 33 injured. Two terraces of houses were practically destroyed, also some buildings were damaged.

Official. -It is believed that three Zeppelins participated iv the. raid. After crossing the coast ihey took various courses and their devious flight suggests that they were uncertain of their bearings. They visited Yorkshire, Lincolnshire. Rutland. Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Essex, and Kent, ami dropped about -.10 bombs. Three men. four women and fire children were killed and 33 persons injured. Two I orrar.es of houses were completely destroyed, one ollii-e one public-house, a cafe, and several shops were, partially destroyed. a block of almshouses were badly damaged, and a. block of -workmen's dwellings demolished. A woman and four children were killed and the husband seriously injured. A doctor's house in another locality was wrecked, but the family.had escaped before the building was struck. A WO-year-old pensioner was incinerated in his bed. Incendiary explosive bombs were used.
