ASK FOR ARMISTICE AGAIN

Following the attack against Wavre and St. Catherine fort, the Germans asked for an armistice to bury their dead.
Paris, October 3. Official. —The violent action on the left continues, especially at Roye, where the Germans have been further reinforced from the centre. The Allies repulsed many day and night attacks. The Allies progressed slightly between Argonne and the Meuse. The Germans at Argonne tried to slip but were driven back, otherwise there has been no noteworthy development. Amsterdam, October 2. It is reported that the German General Staff has left Luxembourg for Mayence. ,
