PEE, PBESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, May 16. The Westfield sale was held yesterday. There, was a moderate yarding of cattle and prices were a shade easier than last week. Choice pens of prime ox sold at-equal to 26s per cwt; ordinary prime ox at 23s to 255. Cow and heifer beef sold at equal to 20s to 235. Heavy calves were lower. Others sold at late rates. Heavy sorts at up to £3 19s; choice suckers '35s to £2; others 5s to 20s. There was an average yarding of sheep. The demand was weak, and late rates were hardly maintained. Extra heavy prime wethers sold at 18s 6d to 20s 6cl; medium-weight wethers 16s to 17s Gd; light 13s to 15s"; heavy ewes 14s to 15s Gd; medium-weight lis 6d to 13s. Heavy woolly lambs sold at 12s to 13s 9d; others 8s to lis; heavy shorn lis to 12s 9d; others 6s to 9s.

Pork.—Heavy baconers sold at £2 6s to £3 2s; heavy porkers 35s to 455; light porkers 26s to 325.
