ENTERTAINMENTS.

| — — THE LYCEUM PICTURES. ( "Not coming, after all." So says the manager of the Lyceum in reference to the "Tale of Two Cities," but there will be a programme that wilL perhaps suit a Saturday night; ! audience even better. Cowboy and ( Western' films always seem to go well, so that "Custer's Last Stand" "A Romance of Rio Grande," by the Selig Company, and "Broncho Bill's Aelventures," a comedy by the S. and A. Co.. read as if they were specially ordered to suit the popular taste., Tho more serious minded patrons will find empoyment in the Gaumont Graphic, and "The Chamelion," tlie latter being a most interesting study of this quaint little reptile. Admirers of Alax will be pleased to read his name as; appearing on the.programme especially as he has associated with him his dog Dick. Master E. Glading will be heard again in another illustrated 'song, "You've Got the Wrong Number, but You've Got the Right Girl." This song . will he accompanied by the whole orchesfcra. Next week, Afaster E. Glading will be in Palmerston North at the Zelandia Hall, reappearing here on Monday week. , - ■
