MR. AND MRS. LAMBERT'S

DAUGHTER

• The Feilding Parish Hall was the scene of a pleasant entertainment last night, when Mr and Airs W. H. Lambert entertained a large party of friends and relations in honour of Aliss Winnie Lambert's 21st birthelay. The hall was nicely decorated with flags and pot plants, and the tables in the supper room were heautifully laid. The evening was spent in dancing, games, songs, recitations, readings, cards, etc., and a delightful supper added not inconsiderably to the evening's enjoyment. During the evening, Air rred. Pirani proposed "Many happy returns of the day" to Miss Lambert. He said he was the feeling of goodwill and esteem entertained by a large circle of relations and friends towards her when he pointed out that they recognised with gratitude the many services she had rendered to the church institutions with which, she was connected and the willing manner in which she had taken no small part in many social activities. She was a good girl in (the b«st sense of the word, and they all wished her very many more" such celebrations. Cheers were then given for Aliss Lambert and her parents, Air Toomath, who is related by marriage to Miss Lambert, responded on her behalf, and thanked them all for ithe kindly manner in which the toast of her health had been lioncured.
