LOSS OF COTTON IN INDIA
{By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) (Received Feb. 23, 9.30 a.m.) Bombay, February 22. The cotton fire lasted twelve hours, and was the most destructive in the history of India. It has caused a speculative rise of two or three rupees per candy (5601b5).
