The bar to the settlement of th«j Newcastle mining trouble has been raised by the action of the Enginedrivers, who have, in consequence of Mr Justice Higgins , decision to deal with the whole, matter of the Federal dispute, resolved to waive all their claims in connection with the Northern Colliery dispute. This opens the- way for the Wages Board resuming proceedings.
