FETLDING MARKET REPORT.
A. H. Atkinson and Co. Ltd., report having entries in all departments with large attendance and good values. We sold on Wednesday, by order of ithe D.0.A., house and one acre at Makino, the price being £270. Also a number of vehicles, horses, and cows on account of Mr Hiorns. Quotations : — Pigs.— Weanere 4s, 4s 6d, ss, 5s 3d, and up to 6s ; stores, 12s 6d to 16s 6d ; porkers 27s to 28s 6d : Devon boar 41s. Horses. — Four-year gelding £18. aged gellding £6 10s, trap mare £13 15s. hack £4 ss, aged broken horse £12 10s, buggy horse £7 15s. Cows. — Heifer £3 ss, weaners 18s. Harness, s. and d. £6 12s 6d, other lots from £2 11s to £5. Brakes £9 to £10 ss, spring cart £4, gig £10 IVs 6d. Poultry. — Roosters Is 9d to 2s, hens Is Id, Is 3d, Is sd, to 2s, cockerels Is Id, Is 4d, Is sd, to Is Bd. Ducks Is Bd. Is 9d, Is lid, 2s, chicks sd, all at each. Produce.— Pollard 10s 6d sack, bran Bs, chaff £2 12s per ton, potatoes 7s 6d per sack, onions Id per lb, marrows, 2s per sack. Fruit — 200 cases sold. Tomatoes Is 3d quarter case, half cases 2s 3d, peaches 2s 6d to 4s per case, plums 3s, apples 3s to 4s per case, quinces Id per lb. Sundries — Bicycle £1 5s to £2 10s, saddle £3 14s. cart saddle £1 Bs.
