THE WOOL SALES.

ALL ENTRIES SOLD AT INVERCARGILL. PRICES FULLY UP. [PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Invercargili. February 9. The last wool sale of the present series was held to-day, when 4004 bales were offered, and practically all were sold. It was generally anticipated, in view of the recent northern sales, that the prices would be lower, but considering that there was less than half the quantity offered, and that most of the best clips have been sold, the prices were fully equal to those of the January sale. Lower grade wools were fully_ £d better. The best price was obtained for a three-bale lot of super crossbred hogget, which sold for Id. Mie best prices for other sorts were : Half-bred lOJd, strong crossbred 9sd. The prices were fully up to last sale's quotations.
