FEILDING SCHOOL MATCHES.
Mr W. H. McLean has got., together a team of High School boys, past and present, to play a series of matches during the holidays against district clubs. The first match will be played on New Year's Day, against the • Sandon club's team. Wangnnui defeated Taranaki by nine wickets. Taranaki scored 209 (ClDgg 89 not out) and 66 (Cfombi© 29). Wanganui, in their first innings, made 171 (Butterworth 60, Cave 27) and 101 for one wicket 'in the second (Butter worth 54).
