WOOL SKIN AND HIDE SALE.

Messrs Abraham and Williams report on their sale: — We offered a large catalogue at our sale to-day comprising numerous bags of wool, 4500 skins, 900 hides and calf skins, 8 casks and sundry tins of tallow, rabbit skins, etc. Included'in our catalogue were several lines o£ first-class skins and well go* up hides and our tog prices were 7d per lb for fine skins and 7d per lb for heavy ox whilst a line of calf skins xealised 8d per lb. Our Ibides were all in splendid condition, most of the lines offered being conditioned in our store on Thorndon Quay and realised top prices. WELLINGTON WOOL AND SKIN SALES. The fortnightly sales of wool, skins, hides, tallow and sundries were held by Wellington brokers on Friday. Buyers were numerous, and there was spirited bidding. ,Very little wool was offered.
