L The Englyish Rugby Union has arranged, 28 fixtures for the Australian footballers, commencing at Devon on September 26. The matches will include contests against England, Ireland, and Walesa with terns from the Univrsities, the counties, the army and navy, and leading clubs, and concluding with a game against France on the first of January. The football match between a team from the District High Schools of Stratford, Patea, and Eltham and the first fifteen of the Napier High School was played to-day, and was won by the Napier, boys by 18 points to 3. The box plan for the reserved area in the grandstand for the British match at Palmerston on W^dnesdav next, will be opened at Mr W. Park s to-morrow morning. Five hundred seats have been set apart in the centre of the stand at ss, and application for same should be sent in early, with a stamped envelope for the return of tickets.
