Dalgety and Co. report^ on their Levin sale:— There was a full yarding of sheep, of which wo sold 2400 under the hammer, only one line of lambs being passed. Prices ruled as follows : — Fat ewes (prime quality) 14s 9d, ' mixed ewes and wethers 12s 3d, two- • tooth wethers 10s Id to lis 7<l, twotooth ewes (small) 8s lOd, breeding ' ewes 8s 6d to lis 3d, cull ewes 3s 6d : to 6s 2d, woolly Jambs 7s 4d to 8s Id, i shorn 4s to 5s 6d, good 7s 2d to 7s lid, ' two-and-a-half year steers £3 10s, : three-year steers £4 15s ,aged cows to ■ £1. I Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: — On Thursday, 19th inst., we held a clear- j ing sale on behalf of Mr W. Frank- | lin, at Tural-ina. Notwithstanding j the rough weather, we had a very good attendance and made an excellent ' clearance. Messrs Abraham and Williams report on their Johnsonville -ale as follows :— A big yarding of bullocks came forward, including a few prime pens, but the liulk of tho cattle were plain. A small entry of sheep sold at last . week's rates. We quote:— Best bullocks £8 2s 6d, £8 7s 6d, £8 12s 6d to ' £9, lighter sorts £6 17s 6d, £7 2s 6d to £7 17s 6d, heifers £6 5s to £6. Sheep: Best ewes to 15s, others 13s 7d to 13s lOd, wothers 16s 2d to 16s 10d, lambs lis 2d, lis 3d to 12s. A line t of cull ewes made 6s, store lambs ss. j 1
