The French newspapers assert that the collapse of Rochette's concerns involved a loss of eight million sterling. Great excitement is. felt in Toulon, where there are numerous investors. London, March* 24. Henri Rochette, company promoter, has boon arrested in Paris charged with frauds in connection with his flotation of industrial stocks representing three millions sterling. He employed 400 clerks. CHINA WANTS THE FLEET, TOO. (Received March 25, 8.30 a.m.) Pekin, March 24. China has invited the American fleet to visit Nanking.
