Sheep were in short supply, and the following prices were realised. F.m. ewes in lamb 18s Id to 18s Bd, hoggets 14s lOd, halfbred 2-tooth Shropshire ewes 14s, light fat ewes 16s, forward ewes 12s lOd, cull hoggets 8s Id, 3 and 4year steers £5 14s; 2J and 3-year steers £4 7s, 2-year steers £3 7s, 18---month steers £2 6s 6d, forward bullocks £6 12s to £6 15s, fat cows £4 ls to £4 10s, forward cows £2 15s to £3 10s, store cows 25s to £2, springing cows £3 12s 6d to £6 15s.
