THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM.

Wellington, June 13. New Zealand Rugby Union has appointed Mr Edgar Wylie manager of the New Zealand team to tour Australia. Mr Galbraith, treasurer of the Union, and Mr Wylie will represent the Union at the conference in Sydney of Australasian unions when a new agreement will be drawn up. It was decided to allow members of the team three shillings per day each travelling allowance. If possible a match will be arranged for July 6th between the New Zealand team and Wellington province. The Feilding ground will be utterly unfit to play on to-morrow, and the Union should declare the fixtures arranged for there to be off. The following team has been selected to represent Sandon against the Albions at Sandon on Saturday: — George, Richardson (2), Scott, Mclntyre, Thompson, Knight, Drew, Williams (2), Hanson, Lobb, Reed, Hartley, Henderson; emergencies, McNae, Hirst, Irwin.
