Sydney, June 11. At the Methodist Conference the Rev. Mearland moved that the New Zealand Conference be given permissive legislation to deal with stationing ministers either in the representative or ministerial session of the annual conference. He said there was a strong desire in New Zealand to possess that power. The Rev*. Lawry moved air amendment making it mandatory that the question should be transferred to the representative rc&sion.
