FEILDING (0) v. PALMERSTON (20). In this match, played at Palmerston, the Feilding team were completely outclassed, and never made any show from start to finish. Palmerston backs secured the ball from almost every scrum, and broke through without even taking the ball out to their wing three-quarters. Feilding's forwards were too weak, and their backs had hardly enough play to keep themselves warm. The Palmerston back division, who recently played so well in the seven-aside tournament, did practically as they liked, and the win was well within their strength. Feilding forwards would have to show a vast improvement before they could hope to hold their own with their opponents of Saturday. Huimai forfeited to Old Boys, and the latter team came on to Feilding to give their Senior team some enoouragement. Kia Tda had a cake-walk with Ash • hurst, defeating them by 51 to nil.
