At the Addington live stock market to-day the yarding of stock was not nearly so large as the week beiore, in consequence of thp wet weather, and the attendance was smaller than usual. There was a dull sale for the few sheep offered. Prime fat lambs and fat sheep sold well, and there was no change in beef. rigs showed sam* decline from the previous week. There was a dull sale for store and dairy cattle. Store she3p.—The yarding o\ store sheep was a small one, and made up of wethers and lambs. The demand has fallen off considerably on account of the rough wintry weather, the only enquiry—that little—being for forward lambs. A number cf lots were passed, and the following were the principal bales:—2B6 Iwo-tooths 12s 6d, 277 at 11s sd, 286 at 12s 6d, 277 at 21s, 50 at 10s; lambs, 25 at 12s Id, 158 at 11s Id, 401 at Us, 74 at 9s Id, 76 at 8s Id, 60 at Bs, and 57 at 7s Bd. Fat lambs.—There was a large entry of fat lamßs and of better average quality than of late, unfinished lots not being in'such large proportions. Prime lots met with good c<mpetition and were rather firmer, while other descriptions snowed little or no change. Tegs sold up to 21s 9d, standard weights 15s to 18s, light and unfinished lls 6d to 14s Pd. Fat sheep.—There was a mixed yarding of fat sheep, which was much smaller than the previous week. Prime sheep, both wethers and ewes, sold at rather firmer rates, and other classes were well up to last veek's prices. The range of prices was: — Prime wethers 21s to 26s Id, medium 17s 6d to 20s"T>a, others 15s 7d to 17s, prime ewes 19s to 22s 3d, medium 15s 6d to 18s 6d. aged 11s to 15s. Fat cattle.—The supply of beef totalled 204 bead, only a small proportion of which was of prime quality. Prices remained about the same _as last week, a few extra prime selling up to 25f», prime 22s to 245, and inferior 19s to' 22s per 1001 b. Steers brought £6 15s to £9 -15s. heifers £4 17s 6d to £7 17s 6d, and cows £4 12s 6d to £6 15s, and extra to £8 15s. A good yarding of veal calves made 5s to £2 17s 6d. Store • and dairy cattle.—A small mixed lot of store cattle met with practically no sale, and the dairy cows were a moderate lot, th-3 best price being £7 10s. Pigs.—There was a fair yarding of pigs. Baconers and stores were rather easier, and there was no change in porkers. Choppers made £2 10s to £5 ss, baconers 48s to 555. and e&tra heavy to 665, equal to s<\ per Ib. Porkers 34s to 455, equal to 6d per Ib, large stores 22s to 28s. medium 16s to 20s, slips 11s to 15s, and weiners 6s to 10s.
