FOOTBALL.
[FEB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, May 28. At a meeting of the committee of Canterbury Rugby Union to-night, the Secretary reported that D. McGregor, one of the Canterbury nominees for North v. South Island match had refused to sign the declaration re the professional team to tour England. Complaints were received as to the conduct of the spectators at the recent football matches enroaching on the grounds and the committee decided to take strong measures to put a stop to the trouble.
