The steamer Jane Douglas, in endeavoring to tow the vessel off, was driven on to the south beaph. The vessel is in a gobd posiion for re-floating on the next tide without the neoessitv of djs-. charging her cargo of timber. The Jane Douglas was fully laden with cargo for the South Westland trip, and will be high and dry at few water when she will probably discharge. There are hopes of. re-float- - ing her also on the next tide when the sea is smooth: Neither boat, so far, has suffered any damage. •; • -,
