Mr Waddell has been allotted the Chief Secretaryship, and Mr Hogne has replaced Mr O Conor as Minister of Instruction. Mr Caruthers, speaking at the opening of the Lithgow ironworks, aggressively warned the Federal Government not to attempt coddling, or to establish industries in any other State at the expense of -New South Wales, which had embarked on a great iron and steel industry without any assistance from the Federal Government. Taxpayers would not tolerate being taxed to establish industries in other States. .' MARINERS PUNISHED. (Received May 14th, 9.53 a.m.) Adelaide, May 14. The captain of the Willyama has been suspended for twelve months, but was granted a mate's certificate. The second mate had his Master's certificate suspended for the same period, but was given a second mate's ticket. ;
