EGG-LAVING COMPETITION.

The statement for the seventeenth week of the Lincoln College Egglaying Competition shows that 827 eggs were laid during the week, making a total to date of 7750. The highest on the list for the week are : F. C Hack, Golden Wyandottes, 81, total 171 ; J. H. Shaw, Brown Leghorns, 30, 293; J. W. Halliday, Minorcas, 20, 139. Snow showers and the changeable weather have affected the birds adversely.
