THE TAPANUI TRAGEDY.
Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright Duxedin, August 28. Stott was brought before the Court to day and remanded. He was then brought into Dunedin for safe keeping. Stott has been in the district for four years, working as a carpenter and at various odd jobs. He is believed to have been at one time a black tracker Late this afternoon a youth of 16 or 17 years of age, supposed to be in some way connected with the crime, was arrested, and it is believed further arrests will follow.
