POLICE COURT.

At the Police Court this morning, before Messrs George Eirton and John Stevenson, J.P.s, the following cases were dealt with : — A first offender was charged with being found drunk on Kimbolton Road on Saturday. Convicted and discharged. Three young men, named Richard Smith, A. Hurdle, and Richard Dowdall, were charged with alleged robbery on Saturday last from tho person of Adolphus Brown, of Waituna, of the sum of £5 10s. Mr Trewin appeared, for Smith and Hurdle, and Mr Haggitt for Dowdall. The police applied for a remand until Wednesday, which was granted, The accused were admitted to bail in £50 each, and two sureties of £50 each. A prohibition order was issued against a man to apply to the licensing districts of Oroua and Palmers ton.
