« A Warm Reception to Trumper. Telegraph, Press Association Copy right Sydney, December 12. Tne town Hall was pacKed on toe occasion of the public reception given to Victor Trumpor. The Lord Mayor presided. The speakers including the Premier and Mr Reid, eulogised the young cricketer's splendid record in England and Australia. On behalf of the teachers and students of the Crown street school he was presented with a valuable set of cutlery and two fruit dishes.
