The Admiralty floating dock for Bermuda, built by Swan and Hunter, of Wallsend, lifted the Sanspareil, a vessel of 11,000 tons displacement, with her armour, guns, and stores, bodily out of the water in the Medway. Paris, June 6. M. Combes succeeds M. Waldeck Rousseau as Premier, M. Delcasse being Minister for Foreign Affairs ; Andre, Minister for War; and M. Rowirer Minister for Finance, in the new Cabinet. M. Bourgeois was elected President of the French Chamber.
