He cnns to Auckland from Sydney over 30 years ago and for fully a quarter of a century was connected with the cattle t*ade Deceased was 72 years of age. Gisborne January 11. John Andrew, seventy-five years of age, died this afternoon. He arrived in the colony in the Egmont half a century ago. Wellington, This Day. The mail steamer Mariposa, which left Auckland on Dec 26, reached 'Frisco on the 12th inst., gaining one day.
