The Licensing Vote.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — It may be of interest to some of your readers to know (notwithstanding the assertion of the New Zealand Times that "No License" has had a set back) that the "No License " vote for the 26 districts, for which you. gave the figures I laat evening, is a large increase over 1896. The figures were— lß96, 49,75? ; for 1899, 54,877, or an increase of 51181 That is a proof that no license is marching steadily onward in spite of all the opposition. I am, etc., Anti-Liquor,
