Sailor parcels afloat are quoted at 27s 6cl per quarter. 13,000 quarters new Victorian, January shipment, have been sold at 28s 9d per quarter. Butter. — The market is improving, a good demand having set in- Choicest colonial is quoted at 100s to 104s, as against 100s to 102s last week, and 104s to 106s at the corresponding date last year. Secondary is slow of sale at 90s to 90s 6d. Danish is strong at 116s. Sugar. — Th*e market is flat. German beet, SSdeg., l|d lower, at 9s per cwt ; Java cane, No. 15, D.S., unchanged at 11s 9d Bradford Tops.— The Bradford top market is excited. Common Sixties, Id higher at 31d ; and super sixties, lAd higher, at 32|-d. River Plate tops at Antwerp are quoted afc 6.35 francs per 100 kilo- ! grammes for November-December dcliv- | cry ; 6.45 francs, April delivery. At Ronbaise they 'are quoted at 6.60 to 6.65 francs..
