In shorthorn cattle classes Mr A. Fantham secured the champion prizes for both bull and cow with Hubbick and Rose Blossom II respectively; in classes for I Jersey and Alderney Mrs E. Montgom- : erie secured the principal prizes ; Mr J. McGregor was the chief winner in the classes for fat stock. . Sheep. — Mr W. Wilson secured the championship for a Lincoln ram amongst other awards ; and Mr J. Wilkie secured the champion i prize for a Lincoln ewe; Miss Watt also secured awards in the Lincoln classes for exhibits ; for Leicesters i Fernie Bros, and S. R. Lancaster were the principal prize winners, the latter also being successful iv classes for fat sheep. Horses — The draughts were a noticeable feature, while thoroughbreds were conspicuous by their absence ; Glenroy, the champion of Hawera and Palmerston Shows, was again a winner, while some of Rob Roy's stock secured awards.
