The Half-Holiday Question.
(PEE VB.EBS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, This Day. The Premier telegraphs to Mr Crowthcr, M.H.R., in reply to his telegram regarding the half-holiday, that those who fixed Saturday are to blame, not the Government, for the hardship entailed. At a public meeting at Onehunga a reso : lution was carried in favor of closiug on Wednesdays.
