SOUTHERN GROUP AFFAIRS
ANNUAL MEETING
Representatives ''from the Harrisville, Pukekawa, Mangatawhiri, Te Kohanga and Onewhero branches of the Women’s Division, attended the annual meeting of the southern group held in the Tuakau' Oddfellows’ hall on Thursday last. The president, Mrs K. D. Orr, who presided, read a comprehensive report on the past year’s operations, and the secretary, Mrs A. Crawford, read the balance sheet, which showed a healthy financial position. Mrs .T. Henderson, of Onewhero, president of the Waitemata Provincial Executive, thanked Mrs Orr for her untiring zeal in connection with Division work. The following officers were re-elected: President, Mrs K. D. Orr: leader, Mrs Lyons; secretary, Mrs A. Crawford.
A delicious afternoon tea was partaken of.
