THE FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION •LABOUR DAY TOURNEY ENDS PUKEKOHE TEAM’S SUCCESS The Franklin Bowling Association’s annual Labour Day tournament was completed on Saturday when the semifinals and final were played. Allhough showery conditions prevailed the green was in surprisingly good order and* some splendid bowling was seen. Results are :
Semi-finals: Proude, Ilaslam, Basham, Bradanovich (Pukekohe), 22,. v. Ferguson, Wool ford, Grice, Armstrong (Pukekohe), 12; McCall, Bartels, Cooper, Rowe (Papakura), 18, v. Skelton, Crotty, Neilson, 11. Pleydell (Pukekohe), 11. Final: Bradanovich, 22, Rowe, 12.
Trophies and the challenge stars were presented to the winners at the close of play.
