NATIONAL SAVINGS
MEETING AT PUKEKOHE
WEDNESDAY NEXT
A meeting of Pukekohe business people and others interested in the National savings scheme will be held in the borough council chambers at 8 p.m. on Wednesday next, November
It is desired that committees should be formed in all towns both large and small, throughout the Dominion and proposals for encouraging and increasing the number of depositors and lodgements will he submitted for discussion.
As all funds raised under this scheme are used solely for war purposes, and each town has been given a weekly quota, it is hoped that Pukelcohe’s effort will reach expectations. A full attendance is desired. The Mayor, Mr M. R. Grierson, will preside.
