LAST NIGHT’S FUNCTION PRES ENT A TlO N S .MAD E Tlie Rev. .1. Patlison. Airs Paltison, and .Miss P. Paltison. who are leaving Pukekohe shortly to reside at Takapuna, were farewelled by Hie congregation of 11m Presbyterian church and friends, in the Presbyterian Sunday S< 1 1 001 lasi night. The Rev. Paltison, who is laying down Hie reins of office after nearly 50 years’ service lo his church, retires at Hie end of the month. He lias been Id years in Pukekohe. Air Patlison was presented with a pocket wallet containing a substantial cheque. Airs Paltison received a handbag containing a cheque and Aliss Patlison a lovely crystal vase.
