Patumahoe School’s 70th Anniversary
FIXED FOR MARCH 1 ARRANGEMENTS WELL IN HAND INVITATIONS SENT OUT Arrangements are now practically completed for the 70th anniversary celebrations of the Patumahoe school on March 1. The Celebrations will commence with an official, welcome afternoon after which a parade of pupils and ex-pupils arranged in decades will lie held. The parade will march lo the main entrance of the school where the ofi-ial opening of Hie centennial gates will take place. 'Hie remainder of Hie afternoon will he spent in renewing old acquaintanceships. Invitations have been sent to the lion. P. Fraser, Minister of Education. Mr J. N. Massey, M.P. for Franklin, representatives of the Auckland Education Board and of the surrounding schools, to be present. A large number of replies have b ; . en received from ex-pupils. Given fine weather the function should be most enjoyable.
