LEAGUE CLUB MEMBER

HAROLD MILLIKEN FAREWELLED FUNCTION AT PAPAKURA About 80 members and supporters of the Papakura Rugby League Club were present at a social evening last week to bid farewell to Air Harold Milliken, the senior team’s brilliant forward, who leaves with the Rugby League team shortly for a tour of England and France. The president, Air Les AlcYeagh, presided. W. HUBAND HONOURED ATHLETIC CLUB PRESENTATION A presentation was made to Air W. Huband at the Papakura Rugby League function last week by Mr Frank Osborne, president of the Papakura Athletic Club. Mr Huband left for Wellington, where he has been transferred, on Tuesday. The president said that Air Huband had been an active member of the club for the last two seasons, and asked him to accept a smaH presentation as a mark of the members’ appreciation of his services to the club.
