RUGBY FOOTBALL
WHITE STAR CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD There was an attendance of 40 at the annual meeting of the White Star Football Club, the president, Mr W. G. Patterson, presiding. The balance sheet showed a credit of £23. The report congratulated the club’s three teams on their performances in the senior, junior and third grade competitions. The junior team had tied with Otaua for the championship honours, while the thirds were runner-up to Waiuku in their competition. A motion was passed to the effect that the club was prepared to lose its identity and to co-operate with the Old Boys’ club for the purpose of forming one club to take part in the competitions proposed under the new constitution. Because of this officers were not elected. Last season’s delegates to the Pukekohe Rugby subunion were asked to represent the club at the Union’s annual meeting which takes place in the Masonic hall on March 29 at 8 p.m.
OLD BOYS' CLUB
The Old Boys’ Club will hold its annual meeting in the Masonic hall on Monday evening at 7.30 o’clock.
