LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
PUKEKOHE BRANCH THE MARCH MEETING The March meeting ol‘ the Pukekohe League of Mothers was held last week in the Presbyterian social hall. The president, Mrs C. The speaker was Mrs Conirie who gave a report on the annual service and conference which she attended in Auckland. She also read a paper enlilled “Improve the world by praise” which included, among other thoughts, the following, “Criticism is hard for anyone to bear, and living with one who is for ever complaining is like living between the glasses of a microscope,” and “If you would be loved, avoid unfriendly criticism upon those with whom you live. The thought for the month, “The gcod we do today will bring the happiness of tomorrow,” was brought by Mrs McArthur. A song by Mrs Cornrie was much appreciated.
