OFFERING AT CLEVEDON AN AVERAGE YARDING An average yarding of nearly 130 head of cattle came forward at the Cievedon sale, conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited. There was also a draft of two-tooth ewes from Gisborne. A complete clearance was effected, values being mostly in favour of the buyers. The following prices were realised: Fat cows, £0 to £6 10s; meaty cows, £3 10s to £i 13s; boners, £1 5s to £3: three-year-old steers, £7 to £8 10s: rising two-year-old steers. £5 to £5 2s 6d; light weight hulls, £5 to £5 17s 6d: two-tooth ewes.. 13s to 17s 3d: woolley lambs. 8s 3d to 11s 3d: shorn, 3s 6d to 6s.
