NOTES FROM TE KOHANGA SOCIAL CLUB MEETING There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Kohanga Social Club held on Monday, when the following officers were elected: President, Mr P. Lawson; vice-president, Mr A. McGowan; secretary, Mrs W. Parry; programme organiser, Mrs H. M. Frost; committee, the officers and Miss R. Lawson and Mr N. Edwards. Football Club Activities There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of Te Kohanga Rugby Football Club. The balance sheet showed a credit of £2 2s iOd. Officers elected were: Patrons, Messrs W. Owen and 11. M. Frost; president, Mr G. Edwards; vice-presidents, Messrs L. Cole-Baker, P. Lawson, M. Taua and A. McGowan: secretary, Mr R. Watson; committee, Messrs G. Whisky, S. .tones, E. Frost, and N. Edwards: delegates to Franklin sub-union, Messrs G. Edwards and R. Watson; selectors, Mr M. Taua (senior), Messrs E. Frost, B. Rapana and J. Nicholls (junior) ; gatekeepers, Messrs 11. Poroa, H. .lones and Weti Clark. The annual subscription was fixed at 5/-. . ONEWHERO NOTES TENNIS ACTIVITIES Personal. Mr J. McGill has returned to Onewhero after spending a short holiday at Matamata. Mr W. Ingram who is at present staying with ins parents, Mr and Mrs J. W. Ingram, returns to Opotiki at the end of the week. Mrs W. McKinney, accompanied by her son Allan, has returned from a tour embracing I-lawke’s Bay and the King Country. Messrs Cecil and Ronald McKinney left on Monday for a trip by car to Wellington.
