ELECTION DAY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15 TODAY’S ANNOUNCEMENT Shortly after midday today, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, released a statement to the effect that the General Election would take place on Saturday, October 15. The Maori elections are to take place on Friday, October 14.
