Young Boy Falls in Pan of Hot Water.
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. DEATH IN HOSPITAL. Tripping and falling backward into a , pan of ,hot, water which-his father had removed from'the kitchen range arid placed, on the floor Tor a moment, Stanley Joseph Otto, agfed 2s,'son of Mr'A. A: "Otto of Ramaramay received scalds which proved fatal. After the accident, which occurred about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the child's clothes were removed immediately. His back was badly scalded. A doctor was telephoned and he ordered a St. John ambulance. The child was admitted to Auckland hospital at 12.25 p.m., but death occurred at 6.55. The child was the third in a family of five.
